The Faculty of Technology at Mahasarakham University, along with faculty members and staff, participated in the “Cultural Preservation and Dissemination of Buddhism Project” on the occasion of Asalha Puja Day 2024.

On Friday, July 19, 2024, at 1:30 PM, the Faculty of Technology at Mahasarakham University, along with faculty members and staff, participated in the “Cultural Preservation and Dissemination of Buddhism Project” on the occasion of Asalha Puja Day 2024. This event was organized by Mahasarakham University and held at Wat Pa Ku Kaew, Kham Riang Subdistrict, Kantharawichai District, Mahasarakham Province.

The activities included a Dhamma sermon, making merit by offering alms and Thai offerings, and a candle procession around the ordination hall. These activities were conducted to commemorate the important event on the full moon day of the eighth lunar month, when the Buddha delivered his first sermon, thus completing the Triple Gem of Buddhism: the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha. The event also aimed to bring merit and auspiciousness to the participants’ lives.
